I AM DENISE — FILMMAKER, PHOTOGRAPHER & DRONE PILOT
With a background in communication design, I create cinematic visual stories that explore people, places, and the connections between them. My work moves between documentary filmmaking, photography, music videos, and artistic collaborations, combining observational storytelling with a strong visual language.
Originally from Hamburg and raised in Northern Germany, I work internationally across a range of independent, artistic, and commissioned projects. Shaped by years of travel and encounters with different cultures, my work is driven by a curiosity about community, identity, belonging, and the ways people relate to one another.
I am currently completing my first documentary short film, WIR SIND ALLES, a cinematic portrait of community and collective responsibility in a village close to where I grew up.
Whether working on independent films, artistic collaborations, or commissioned productions, my goal remains the same: to create work that not only looks beautiful, but feels meaningful and leaves a lasting impression.
